“Even though I checked in at 3 pm I was given a handicapped room across from the laundry room. I had to complain about the noise, as it was just like they were talking in my room. In the morning I complained about the handicap room and the lady said it was all they had. I don’t believe her and I think it was because I was older she thought she could get away with it. The room has no Kleenex and the soap is about the cheapest known to man”

“The cleaning crew did a great job--our room was always clean and neat. The check in person was disrespectful and short tempered with the female person when we checked in. However, the front desk person was polite and courteous to the male person in the party upon check out. BTW the female person was the person who paid for the room. Breakfast was adequate but simple. The walls are thinning and you could hear other patrons most of the time in our room.”

“This is a very unique place and I really enjoyed my stay. I had a suite and it was very luxurious. I was facing the movie screen which was great on movie night as I could watch from my patio. My only issue was that an hour before the movie they started playing loud music on the speakers. I had just returned from an active day and was enjoying a few quiet moments with a book. There was no escaping all the noise, unlike the volume from the movie, which was reasonable. I was surprised because the...

“Our room had a stain on the ceiling that looked like a blood stain from the website to seeing things in person I would not go again. When we got there, there was one room that had plastic over broken window with an ashtray full of cigarettes and Chapstick on a brick ledge. The second day there was a tarp on the inside of that window. Just not a place I would stay again.”

“The staff were nice. The only issue was the shower. It doesn't work well for shorter people. The room was ok and met my needs for what I was doing.”

“It was clean the beds were comfortable and staff was nice but there were things that needed fixing- toilet seat- shampoo holders - air conditioner worked but was loud- other people in hotel were loud- doors slammed- could have been better- could have been worse”

“This was a lovely VRBO. Spacious, clean, well stocked and even fresh flowers! Only hitch was due to my map reading skills- while Expedia claimed it was 19 miles from Great Sand Dunes National Park it was actually an hour drive away! That said there was some other great hiking nearby (recommend Willow Lake Trail). Thanks for a nice stay!”

“Area was quiet and safe. Bed was comfortable. Staff was not very friendly. It was a bit run down and decor was very out dated. Lots of towels provided, but they were very thin. Price was a bit high for a motel. ”

“Entry to the room meant walking thru a wide 1/2 grass 1/2 mud backyard in the dark due to our 8 pm arrival! This meant of course, carrying a large suitcase rather than being able to use the wheels. For this reason, I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it ”
